Safety & Certification

Are Helmpie helmets safe?

Yes. Safety is our priority.

Ski Helmpies are certified according to EN1077:2007 Class B, the official European safety standard for ski and snowboard helmets. They are tested for impact protection and penetration resistance.

Scooter Helmpies comply with the applicable European road safety certification standards for scooter and moped helmets. Certification details are provided inside each helmet.

Always use the helmet for its intended activity.

Should I replace my helmet after a fall?

Yes. If your helmet has experienced a significant impact, we strongly recommend replacing it, even if no visible damage is present. Internal protective materials can compress during impact.

Ski Helmpies

Are Ski Helmpies suitable for snowboarding?

Yes. They are suitable for both skiing and snowboarding.

What sizes are available?

  • M: 55–58 cm
  • L: 59–61 cm

Each Ski Helmpie includes an adjustable fit system for a secure and personalised fit.

Scooter Helmpies

Are Scooter Helmpies road legal?

Yes. They comply with European certification requirements for scooter and moped use. Always check your local regulations for helmet requirements in your country.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30 day return policy from the date you receive your helmet.

The helmet must:

  • Be unworn
  • Be undamaged
  • Be returned in original packaging

Helmets that show signs of use or damage cannot be refunded due to safety reasons.

How do I return a Ski Helmpie?

How do I return a Scooter Helmpie?

To return a Scooter Helmpie, please send an email to: hello@helmpieamsterdam.com

Include:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for return
  • Clear photos if applicable

Our team will provide further instructions.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect your returned helmet, your refund will be processed within 14 days, provided everything is in accordance with our return conditions.

The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

What if my helmet arrives damaged?

If your helmet arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos. We will assess the situation and provide a suitable solution.
